Description Sergeant Garnet E. "Tiny" Moore loves to tell about his time in the Patrol. In this exhibit, he reminisces about the good time and the hardships experienced by he and his family during his career with the Division, which began in 1946 with his graduation with the 21st Academy Class, to his retirement in 1963.

Sgt. Moore remembers his family, especially his wife, stepping up to the plate and taking care of many things at home that were done traditionally by the husband. With the long hours patrolling Ohio's roadways, Sgt. Moore was not always able to spend much time at home.

But that didn't stop the Moore family, or any other Patrol family, for that matter. Sgt. Moore remembers the strong camaraderie within Patrol employees and their families, and how they helped each other during hard economic times in whatever ways they were able.
