Cincinnati woman arrested for illegal drug conveyance at Warren Correctional Institution
LEBANON – A Cincinnati woman will appear in the Lebanon Municipal Court today after Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers arrested her yesterday for conveying illegal drugs onto the grounds of the Warren Correctional Institution.

Troopers charged Pamela Y. Collins, 36, with illegal conveyance onto the grounds of a correctional facility, a third-degree felony.

Troopers and Department of Rehabilitation and Correction investigators obtained information that Collins planned to convey illegal drugs into the Warren Correctional Institution. She was arrested yesterday after she consented to an administrative search which revealed 10 and one-half grams of marijuana on her person.

Collins was incarcerated at the Warren County Jail. If convicted, she could face up to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol investigates criminal activity on state owned and/or leased property.
