Patrol's Mansfield Post to hold open house

What: Open house for the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Mansfield Post

When: Friday, June 17 at 1:00 p.m.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is inviting the public and media to attend the open house ceremony for the newly constructed Mansfield Post. The open house is the culmination of a complete rebuild that began in June 2004 next to the old Mansfield Post.

The officers and professional staff assigned to the Mansfield Post now have the most up-to-date facilities and equipment available to assist them in keeping the citizens of Richland County safe.

A memorial plaque to former post commander, Lt. Jack D. Moore will be placed inside the new post. Lt. Moore, who served the Patrol for over 22 years, died from a heart attack on Aug. 25, 1981.
