Escaped inmate Juan Romero Barahora apprehended
CINCINNATI – Escaped Summit Behavioral Center inmate, Juan Romero Barahora, was apprehended last night at approximately 10:00 p.m. in the city of Hamilton.

Patrol investigators received information that disclosed Barahora’s suspected location. The information was given to the Hamilton Police Department and their Hostage Negotiation Team apprehended Barahora without incident.

Barahora escaped from the Summit Behavioral Center late Tuesday night. Barahora was originally incarcerated at the Warren County Sheriff’s Office jail on a first-degree felony rape charge. On August 29, following an attempted suicide while in the jail, Barahora was transported and admitted for an evaluation to the Summit Behavioral Center in Cincinnati.

Barahora is currently incarcerated in the Butler County Jail.
