Two Juveniles arrested for possession of Ecstasy in city of Lima
LIMA – Two 17-year-old females are facing felony drug charges after Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers seized 155 Ecstasy pills, worth nearly $5,000 during a traffic stop in Allen County.
Troopers stopped a 1993 Mercury Grand Marquis, with Ohio registration, for a turn signal violation, on Eureka Street, near McPherson Avenue in the city of Lima at 11:08 p.m. last night. Criminal indicators were observed and an Allen County Sheriff’s Office drug-sniffing canine alerted to the vehicle. A probable cause search revealed the Ecstasy pills.
The driver of Detroit, Mich., was charged with possession of a schedule I substance, a third-degree felony. The passenger, of Lima, Ohio, was charged with possession of a schedule I substance, a fifth-degree felony. Both were incarcerated in the Allen County Juvenile Jail.
