OSHP and ODOT to talk about traffic fatalities and safe driving
ahead of the busy holiday travel season

What:               The Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Ohio Department of Transportation will discuss the high number of
traffic deaths in Ohio this year and what is being done to address the issue. We’ll also have a visual display
to help show the number of traffic deaths in Ohio.

When:              Tuesday, December 22, 2015 9 a.m.

Where:             Ohio Department of Transportation Traffic Management Center
                        1980 West Broad Street
                        Columbus, Ohio 43223

Who:                Colonel Paul A. Pride, Patrol superintendent
                        Jerry Wray, ODOT Director

Why:                So far this year, Ohio has recorded more than 1,000 traffic deaths. Travel around the holidays is expected to
be at record levels and we want to encourage Ohioans to be safe as they travel to their destinations.
