PNC Bank to receive Patrol’s Partners for Safety Award

CLEVELAND – The Ohio State Highway Patrol presented PNC Bank with the Partners for Safety Award today during an awards presentation in Cleveland.

Lieutenant Colonel Kevin D. Teaford, Assistant Superintendent of the Patrol, and Ohio Department of Public Safety Director John Born expressed their gratitude for the support before presenting the award to PNC Bank Northern Ohio Regional President Paul Clark.

PNC Bank was recognized for providing additional workspace for law enforcement operations during the 2016 Republican National Convention in Cleveland.

“The Patrol is thankful for this relationship with PNC Bank and for the support extended to law enforcement during the Republican National Convention,” said Lieutenant Colonel Teaford. “Together, we made a difference in the lives of others.”

The Patrol’s Partners for Safety Award recognizes local level partnerships that aid in the development of community groups, health and safety organizations, law enforcement agencies, schools, and state and local programs, to make Ohio a safer state.

Previous award recipients include Honda of America Manufacturing, Inc., Pizza Hut, the American Motorcyclist Association, AK Steel, the Cincinnati Bengals, the University of Cincinnati Bearcats and Mid-Ohio School.
