Capitol Operations

The Capitol Operations Unit is responsible for the security of State buildings throughout the city of Columbus.

The unit is stationed at several facilities which include the Ohio Statehouse, Vern Riffe Office Tower, James A. Rhodes Office Tower and The Ohio Judicial Center.

Some of their responsibilities consist of building security and criminal investigations on state owned and leased property. Capitol Operations is responsible for the Division’s Explosive Detection Canine Unit.
